What type of data do we collect and how do we collect it?
We collect two different type of information: personal information that can directly identify you as an individual, and anonymous information that cannot be reasonably used to do so. Note that we use as few personal information as possible and try to focus on anonymous information so that we don't interfere with your privacy.
Data you send us directly
When you register on our services, or when you carry out transactions with us (mail exchange, information request, diploma service), you send us data. This data includes your email address and your name/the name of your kids.

Technical data that we gather automatically
Several of our systems collect technical data about the way you use our services to ensure that they work as intended. For example when you play Magnus' Kingdom of Chess, we collect the device model and the operating system of your device in order to give us the ability to fix potential issues in the shortest amount of time.

We also collect some of your settings (the locale that you use inside the game) to offer you an experience tailored to your needs.

The data that we collect also includes your IP address and MAC address.

Usage data
We collect information about your activity on our produces so that we can understand the behaviour of users and offer a fitting experience. Note that this collect is done anonymously and no information we collect about your activity can be used to identify you.

This collect is done through both our own services and third party analytics services such as Google and Facebook Analytics.


Why do we collect your data?
To ensure our services run optimally
In order to ensure that we can carry out our services as expected, we need to have some information about you. This covers communicating with you about your account or any information that you could need, making sure that we can provide a customer service or fulfill transactions offered as part of our services. This also enables us to let you know when there are important changes on our site or in our policies.
